Bray Raku Studio creates unique, hand-thrown pottery which is fired in the Raku process. Pottery is removed from the kiln at glowing hot temperatures upwards of 2000 degrees Fahrenheit. Contemporary potters use a variation where pieces are immediately placed into a pit or container of organic material such as newspaper or leaves which erupts into flame and smoke.

Since 1996 Bray Raku Studio has created unique, hand-made Raku pottery. The work is designed and made by Nathan and Catherine Bray. All work is hand thrown, and no molds are used during the creation of the pottery.
